CEO
Honors Celebration
Cabrini College's annual CEO Honors Celebration in April honors
students and student organizations that excel in Community
Engagement & Outreach throughout the year, whether that
is in the form of regular voluntarism, raising awareness through
writing or speaking about a social justice issue, or mobilizing
the campus to change the system to benefit the vulnerable
in our world.
Chef Rodney will be honored as a member of their professional staff
who exemplifies that spirit of giving! This year's theme is
Global Family. In that spirit the Color of Food project
is honored for reaching out to other countries and cultures.
The Celebration will be held Thursday April 14th from 5 to 7 PM
in the Mansion. Chef Rodney will be speaking to the group of
honorees about his vision of service that reaches all people
around the world and across cultures through the wonderful medium
of food.
Up 'til Dawn Star
of the Week
The Cabrini Executive Board put together the St. Jude's benefit
dinner which not only continued to raise awareness for the group,
but also brought in $4,000 with no expense to execute the event.
The dinner was a success thanks to the help of Cabrini College
Chef Rodney Stockett. Chef Rodney recruited the help of local food
vendors and chefs to prepare a feast at an on campus dining hall.
Included amongst the food were gourmet chicken dishes and a wide
variety of desserts. Tickets were sold to faculty and local community
members for $30 a piece and to students for $15.
Congratulations Cabrini on a job well done!
